So, I'm going to shoot for this.  …

Live, Love, Laugh

I am going to take a break from Facebook until next year.  I just turned 49 years old and I realize, "Where you place your energy is what grows".

I have created a life I love AND I want to spend more time nourishing myself and my family, enjoying time with my family, doing work I love and being present in my life, offline.…

Question Vaccination

I was a critical care nurse for 17 years. I've read hundreds of articles, medical studies and actual package inserts about vaccines. Please consider the lack of science regarding the safety and efficacy of mass vaccination.

Sensory Activities for Little People

This is an old post about sensory seeking activities for little people.  Our son is sensory seeking also. It helps if I connect with him first thing in the morning and create some type of body compression. We have a few sensory games that we have created:

"choo-choo train" is when he lies on the bed and I "row" his feet like a bicycle and we chuga-chuga-choo-choo (he does the train whistle sound) and we repeat that over and over for about 5 minutes. The engagement, physical motion…

Probiotic Selection

There are some 500-1000 different microbials which inhabit and reproduce in the gut. Some are only there transiently and therefore, to have a "healthy" gut (based upon our historical traditional cultures), we need to consume beneficial microbials regularly. Whole food probiotics more effectively remain viable until they reach the large intestine. Most bottled…

MTHFR and pregnancy

Most people don't realize the difference between folic acid and folate, since they believe they are both 'the same vitamin.'
