I'm not a fan of oil pulling IF one has mercury (silver amalgam) fillings in their teeth.
For many years I have known of many people doing oil pulling who LOVE it. I've also heard over the years about people who have loosened their amalgam while oil pulling, and I recognize that heated oil will draw toxins, including heavy metals, from the amalgam.
