I like my milk kefir! I have made it about for a year now and seem to have trouble in the summer and in the dead of winter. The grains seem to stop working and I need to get another set of grains.
So, last spring, I placed my kefir jar in a small strawberry growing jar made of ceramic. The top of the strawberry jar hid the kefir jar. The kefir kept producing, up unitl I decided to use the strawberry jar for growing parsley. Summer came around, air got hot, and the grains stopped…

Breastmilk is a detox pathway. So, we don't want to do anything to dump more toxins into our blood circulation than our urine/feces can excrete. Sweat is another detox pathway which bypasses breastmilk.
Basically, the detoxification system is like a funnel. We can dump a lot into blood circulation but we have a narrow exit.

I hope you'll enjoy this recipe just as much as I do. To your health!

I have been recently learning more of the benefits of Nettles Infusion. First, when I read about Nettles and Stinging Nettles is that the same thing???
Secondly, I can find pill form but is there anywhere I can purchase it in dried form? Where I could add it a jar and then pour my hot water over it for steaping?

An herbalist first brought the issue of detoxifying volatile oils up. I used essential oils daily (for a long time) and neat, at that. I didn't realize the risk of toxicity from essential oils. So, I want to understand too. But, this CYP450 enzyme is somewhat new (last 10 years or so with genetic testing) and different people have different ability/impairment of their detoxification system. SSRIs and 80% of pharmaceuticals…
