~ Food Has Power ~
I made a chocolate milkshake. No kidding. One banana, two tbsp of cocoa powder, a cup of baby spinach, about a half cup of frozen blueberries, a scoop of protein powder and a cup of liquid (I used milk, cause that's what I had, and hey, it's calcium!). Whirr in blender and enjoy. Makes enough for two servings.

I would get a Vitamix instead. They are expensive, but are worth it. I bought a reconditioned one from the company and have been very happy with it. I have also seen them at Costco recently. They are much more multifunctional than juicers.
You can blend up a bunch of veggies and make a real nice soup adding an avocado, maybe some garlic and top with nutrtional yeast and sprouts or sprouted nuts. You can also take juiced veggie juice like carrot, cucumber, etc. and add to vitamix with an avocado and make a soup.

Well, I actually have a vitamix that I bought recently. I am still learning what all it can do. So, would you take a bunch of veggies and process them in the vitamix, then just drinks that? Can you put things like beets and cauliflower into?
Thanks!

We use an Omega Vert and a Kempo Green Power. Both great juicers. We had a Champion and found the same thing that you did - had to cut things up too much plus with the amount of juice we made - it came out warm.

I'm curious about what brand of juicer people like. I have a Champion juicer, but I don't really like it that much. You have to cut things up pretty small before they'll fit through the shute and it seems like it makes the juice get almost hot, which seems to me isn't good for the enzymes. Anyone have a different brand of juicer that you really like?
Oh yes, there is sooo much you can do with a Vitamix - you can put pretty much any food in it and blend it smooth. Makes fantastice Whole Food Juice!
