~ Food Has Power ~
Hi. I haven't posted here yet, so I will give a mini intro. I'm Laura, I have 4 kids. All were delivered via c/s, but the last 2 were because of high blood pressure. This last one resulted in toxemia. My liver was so inflamed at 36 weeks that I couldn't breathe and went to the ER. My baby girl was born 6 weeks early because my liver couldn't handle anymore. I have also been having issues with my gall bladder. I take "cholicol" from standard process to get me through for the time being. I don't want to be on this forever. I know I need to get the toxins out of my body, but how do I do this? There is a wealth of information on this site, but I have no idea where to start. My baby is 6 months old now and still gets all her nutrition from my breastmilk. Is a cleanse safe at this time?
Thanks,
Laura

I would be cautious about detox because of nursing. Start here with whole foods because Whole Foods Heal. Basically support your body's natural ability to neutralize toxins with whole food nutrients.
Here is more about the risk of "Cleanses".

Thank you. I looked over the 14 steps last night. I actually have chicken bones in the pot right now making some fresh broth.
Can you tell me why you recomend Bubbies brand sauerkraut over all the rest? Is it just that it doesn't have any preservatives?
