~ Food Has Power ~
In a hurry, as usual, I picked up the only brand of parchment paper in the regular grocery store: Reynolds.
On the box it says "No Added Grease or Sprays", which at the time I didn't notice, because I thought parchment paper was all the same.
Today I was wondering why it felt so slippery, wondering if it was teflon, which I refuse to use in cookery. I called their 800 number and asked. No it is not teflon, but silicon coated. Ewww!
Why isn't this on the box, or labeled as such? Is it food safe?
Oops, I guess their claim refers to the person baking having to add grease or sprays... Still. Ughh!
