"Thats how I got mine. A lovely stranger in my city had some to spare, so she gave me 2 tbs full in a little jar. That was 4 weeks ago and now I have so much its silly. So what I cant give away goes to my chooks..lol"

"You can also give your kefir grains away. Every 6 weeks or so I have to give some away to manage the amount. I've heard of some folks selling their grains on the internet but I prefer to give mine away."
