NAC and OCD

http://www.naturalnews.com/027769_hair_pulling_amino_acids.htmlFifty-six percent of patients treated with N-acetylcysteine demonstrated"much or very much improved" symptoms, compared with only 16 percent of those treated with a placebo. How did you learn about the "Heal Thyself" site?
MDC - ema-adama
What does "holistic" mean to you?
Wow, that is a biggy for me. I guess for me it means not interferring with healing *too* much. Trusting nature and traditional wisdom. And incorporating a balance of physical nutrition, along with practices such as meditation, movement and being thankful grateful.
How long have you been interested in holistic living?
I was brought up anthroposohpically and turned away to more allopathic frame of reference. Since I gave birth I have rediscoverd holistic living in a BIG way.
a little about me
A first time mother to my 20 month old son. We still enjoy a breastfeeding relationship and I have started to prepare foods such as bone broths, fermented veggies. I am still trying to get used to spending so much time cooking and preparing food. I love the idea of it and get bogged down by the reality...

Oh, I am a qualified OT with experience in Hand Therapy (think burns, orthopedics), and a tiny bit of experience in neuro rehab. Anyway, I have had to unlearn most of what I was taught about the body.
Professional or business affiliations?
?
I am an OT and a mother learning about health, nutrition, preventative medicine in general
