Julie,

On the Main page, left-side, near the top is a "Search" option. It will search the whole website and display links to many discussions and posts.

Hope that helps!  Thanks for the note. I can make it more prominent, but then the Google Ads display whenever anyone searches. (It is a free Google search engine.)

Hi Pat - I've been reading posts in this thread from other users and realized that might be one of the reasons I haven't spent much time on this site and I don't know how much control you have over that?  It is the issue of the organization and following threads and lack of an index.  There is another NING site that has been around for several years that I have been part of, but it is slowly dying out and I'm looking for a new "home" to get ideas and fuel my nutritional education.  That site is organized very well, with indexes and topics and when you reply to a thread it indents under that specific comment you replied to rather than just tacking it on to the end of the thread.  Check it out, maybe it will help.  If you contact Kayley, the "owner" of that site, I know she will be very helpful in how she set it up.  Tell her Gabraela directed you to her :)  Anyway, the site is naturecures.ning.com.

After reading the posts in the feedback thread, I'm more motivated to get to know each of you better!!

Gabraela

Gabraela,

Thank you for taking time to comment.  I'd love suggestions on making the site easier to navigate or quicker to locate helpful information.  It is a treasure-trove of information--- finding the gems of information which apply to each member is a challenge, however.

I've thought of making fewer Forums subheadings or deleting "Groups", since they just spread the information around more.  But, they also organize the information about specific topics.  It is a conundrum!

Annie,

Interesting, so you see a funny border also!   Hmmm... anyone else not see repeating orange grapefruits!?!

Familiarity does affect the utility of a website. Come visit more often! ;-)

Glad you are here.

Sometimes I see the fruit, but like now I see the Photobucket logo "this image or video has been moved or deleted"

I see the grapefruits, but they are 'behind' the page and the border.  only about 1/4 of them can be seen.  Not bothersome at all the way they appear on my computer.

I also have trouble navigating the home page.  I am not signed into the email updates, and that is what I am looking for on the web page.  I would love to see the discussions laid out simply.

I would like for it not to open a new browser tab every time I click on a link. It makes me end up with a ton of tabs to close. Also, it would be nice if there were more threads in a discussion but I guess that will take time.

This is more of a question: I don't see where to post a new thread or discussion. You say to "write up a history and we'll work from there,"  but I don't see where to do that. Is there a specific board where we do that?

Hey Jennifer,

The Wellness Forum is the best place to post, "Follow" and comment.  Select the "+Add" button on the top right to ADD a new discussion thread. Select the "Follow" button at the bottom of the discussions to follow new discussions and receive notifications.
