~ Food Has Power ~
Hi,
I am wondering about adding wk to our diet. Here's the thing. About 6 mos ago we started GAPS/SCD. Dh and ds are the two who need it the most. DD and I had a few small problems, but we seem to be fine now. Dh just started the "intro diet" which we did not do to start with and is finally making substantial improvement. Ds will be doing it as well starting this week. Both are very sensitive to corn. Dh, however, is highly allergic to alchohol. If it gets on his skin it burns, itches, and swells. I had some kombucha, but dh never drank it. When we started SCD I stopped the kombucha because I wasn't sure how much sugar was left in it and didn't want to mess up the diet. I read that all the sugar is used up by the WK grains, but I question that. Also, I don't think dh could drink it because of the alchohol content. But then agian maybe it is such a small amount he wouldn't react. I don't really know. We have been doing 24 hour yogurt for the last 6 months. But I do worry that casein could still be a problem. I love the idea of all the probiotics Wk offers, but I am not sure if it is even worth trying right now. Any thoughts?

He might want to do a skin test before taking it.
