I'm in Calgary, Alberta. I have kefir and kombucha Scoby to share.
Is there anyone who has a bit of water kefir grains they would be willing to ship to me? Is there a reason cultures can't be shipped across the border?

If they are dried kefir grains they can survive the duration of the transportation. My understanding is that Customs delays mail, and also frowns on liquid biological products (there is some paperwork involved, I believe to get them permitted).

Cultures for Health will ship and has the necessary paperwork to expedite the process, per my understanding.

Hi Susan,

My supply just dropped drastically.

My jar exploded (in my hand! - never make kefir in an old pickle jar, only canning jars!) so I lost most of my grains.  I have a few left to nuture.  If you don't have any in a month or two, I can then send you some.
