"I don't know how long this has been an issue. For ds, I'd soak in a tub with Epsom salt water and put a bit of coconut oil on it. Did they culture any drainage for a proper diagnosis and antibiotic selection? Pat"

My uncircumcised 2-year-old has an infection under the foreskin.  It's swollen and painful to him.  His pediatrician wants to put him on antibiotics, but I'd like to know if there are natural remedies.  The doctor also suggested a topical antibiotic, but I'd rather avoid any antibiotics.  Does anyone think it would be safe to put Manuka honey under the foreskin on the abscess?  See More

"Bentonite clay! It will bind the germs and toxins and get them out of you. I use Sonne's #7. You can get it at the health food store or order on line. iHerb is a good place to get things cheaper and they have free shipping for orders over $40.…"

Iron

My 1 year old son came back with low iron count. 10.7 and the normal range is 11-13. He's not anemic but I was told to do a lot of iron enriched foods in cereals etc (which I will not give him!!). He is still breastfeed and dosent do milk  yet. He drinks a bit of raw milk kefir that I make in the morning. Otherwise his diet is all meat, fruits and veggies. He loves pâté, caviar, egg yolks and anything I put in front of him. Iany suggestions as to why and how I can get his iron count up?!
