I recently had some blood work done in part of my search to discover the nutritional root to my depression.  Evidently my Vit D was quite low.  My general practitioner said it was 19, but I have no…Continue

How much Vit D from Fish and Fermented Cod Liver Oil

I recently had some blood work done in part of my search to discover the nutritional root to my depression.  Evidently my Vit D was quite low.  My general practitioner said it was 19, but I have no idea what that unit is.  She perscribed me 1.25 mg of D2.  However, just before that blood test (4 days before) I started taking high doses of EPA (4 g/day), which I still take, and now I'm also taking 1.5 g of Fermented Cod Liver Oil each day.  I know both of these contain Vit D (along with A) but…See More

Dark circles under eyes?

My almost 3 year old son is on a pretty limited diet due to allergies (wheat, dairy, soy, eggs, cod fish, peanuts and some random vegetables).  I have also found he doesn't do well (behaviorally) when he consumes corn, and carrots often seem to cause digestive problems. Lately I've noticed he's developing dark-ish circles under his eyes.  I know this is a sign of nutrient malabsorbtion, but I'm not sure which nutrient, or how to fix this. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks, AbbySee More

Welcome. btdt with the mercury, ha and food issues. I am free of the ha and food issues. Well, I don't eat the food issues, mostly. Still have the mercury fillings. And no meds or discomforts.

Glad you are here. Check out the videos and the 'nutrient dense food' forum.
