What are some non-reaction causes of bed wetting/incontinance? All I know of is magnesium deficiency.

And how old do you have to be to 'wet the bed'? People tend to look at me funny when I say my 2yo wets the bed. The looks were even weirder when she was just over a year old...

my dd wets after an allergin exposure. she was given meat and potatoes that were cooked with wheat groats at a friend's and did it once. after trialing goat yorgurt last spring a few times over the course of a week, it lasted a month.

have you figured it out with your dd? is it still happening?
My 5 year old only recently stopped wetting the bed. I come from a "family of bedwetters" so everyone told me to just relax. Lo and behold, we remove corn from his diet. He has been dry since. Quite amazing. In the 6 weeks he has been totally corn free, he has wet the bed 1 night. So maybe I really just come from a family with food intolerances.
It comes and goes - months of wetness, weeks of dryness. In the past few days, the size of the wet spots in the trainers has been going down. I haven't ever been able to find a food correlation, but now I'm wondering if it's an indicator of a detox pathway for her (methylation?)

Actually, some people say it's a common issue with salicylates. Salicyates slow down the methyl cycle. I wonder if it's a methylation symptom? I wonder if there's such a thing as a methylation symptom?
we had bed-wetting (and night peeing after she'd been waking dry for forever, when she was still in diapers) after allergen exposure.

i'm currently trying to get a mama with THREE kiddos - ages 7, 5 & 3 - with bed wetting issues to look into intolerances or an ED. she says that they are already GF due to her DH's celiac and that going dairy-free a few years ago did nothing for them and pretty much stopped with that. i've encouraged her to look at soy, corn, and eggs but she's not interested. she is very tired from changing everyone's sheets every night, though. :(
My son wets the bed for the 3 nights following allergen exposure to milk (he has lots of intolerances but that's the only bedwetting trigger). Not the night OF the exposure though.
