~ Food Has Power ~
I'm beginning to wonder if she will ever heal/grow out of all these allergies! I've been told that she will likely outgrow most of her food allergies, but they seem to only be getting worse.
Today she reacted (stomach pain and vomit) to kiwi, which she has eaten with no problems before. She has had similar development in her allergies with celery, and several different melons. Dairy is her strongest and first discovered allergy. Her confirmed allergy list is 12 different foods if you count the 3 melons separately. The allergist also has said to avoid all fish and shellfish (along with peanuts, tree nuts and eggs) until some of these other allergies have cleared, since they are the most common allergens.
I would like to follow the 14 steps to a healthy gut, but it seems problematic given her age and food limitations.
I give her water kefir (instead of milk kefir) and until just recently was allowing her kombucha as well, but I recently read that children under 4 shouldn't drink kombucha. I don't know how I would get CLO down her throat even if the allergist hasn't advised against fish. I have given her egg yolks (sometimes scrambled with coconut milk in place of whites), but she refuses them now.
Also, should I scale down the portions for her 32 lbs body? The list sounds like more than she could eat in a day even if she weren't limited by her own allergies.
