Hi Lura,
I'm still finding my way around this site and just saw your post. I'm sorry it's taken 2 months for anyone to respond because it's a terribly frustrating thing you are going through. My eldest son had some reactions to foods I was eating while I nursed him too. I have food allergies and I didn't realize it at the time but the toxins from my allergies were seeping through to the milk he was getting. Thus, his body started to recognize the foods I was reacting to as "foreign invaders" as well and he developed sensitivities to them. Do you have food sensitivities that you know about?
Personally, I wish I had known about Pat's suggestions for healing your gut. She has a post on here somewhere about 14 steps you can take to heal your own gut. My *guess* is that if we had/have healthy guts then our little ones would too. If I were you, I'd find that post on this site and then ask Pat her thoughts about taking anything questionable on her list while you are nursing. You probably already know this but taking things that detox your system while nursing will only pass on more toxins to your nursling. I wish I had a "sure fire" answer but hopefully this will steer you in the right direction.
Best luck! I know it's hard to not know what to do!!
