Hi Ladies! I'm hoping I can get some ideas here on what can be causing my unusual symproms.

I'll try to keep this as short as possible.

In June I started having these constant intense pressure headaches. This sensation would keep up at night and started becoming very anxious about this. I had a CT and MRI of my head all looked well. Suddenly one night I woke up out of my bed with what I thought was a panick attack. From that night on I started feeling as IF I could not breath, rapid heart rate, palpatations and would seem worse as I tried to fall asleep. My body would wake up as IF it as telling me I can't breath. This progressed into the day. So 24/7 I felt like I could not breath and I had a weight on my chest always. I felt week and going up my stairs was a challenge. This lasted for about 7 weeks. It was ruining me. I was losing weight, couldn't take care of my children, beacame very anxious and depressed. I was up till 4am every night because of these awful sensations. I then developed digestion issues. gnawing, burning stomach and alternating between loose stools and constipation. Some nights i become so nauseas I lay by the toilet for hours and will have loose bowels. Gradually my breathing issues faded but the digestive issues would come and go. I felt decent for about 2 motnhs breathing wise.

About a week ago my stomach issues became very bad. I was having constant gnawing and burning in mys stomach. No appetite and jsut not feeling well. I started to freak myself out that I had stomach cancer. Then on the 4th day of this my breathing issues returned and they are worse than ever! I wake in the middle of the night several times a night feeling like I"m having a heart attack. I do not sleep again because I"m scared to fall asleep and have these sensations. When I lay down I also get this intense pressure sensation up my neck and my head. All day I can feel palpatations in my throat, I can do much without becoming winded, I feel like I can't breath 24/7 I feel weak, and I get adrenaline surges. I'm losing it. It's the  worst feeling. Life should not be this way.

Test that have been done

chest CT with contrast-normal

Abdominal CT with contrast-normal

abdominal ultrasound-normal

Thyroid is good

No anemia

I've been to 2 cardiologist who have said it's not my heart.

Been to lung doctor said things look normal

Waitng on bioposy from endoscopy but GI doc did say my stomach was red and irritated in spots

OATS test showed low vit C, low seratonin and candida

Saliva test showed adrenal fatigue but mild I was told. Sex hormones were low normal which I don't understand becuase my periods are so irregular.

Metamatrixstool test showed

-Parasite but didn't know what kind just said not a human parastie

-While i have good numbers of beneficial bacteria they are our of balance.

-Showed I'm not absorbing fats very well at all maybe not producing enough bile

-Showed yest/fungi but not clear what kind

-Lactoferrin is really low

-Anti-gliadin levels were high-gluten sensitive which is intersting I"ve removed gluten for months at a time without feeling a change in anything.

I have MTHFR one copy of each.

I did the whole 30 for 38 days but did not notice a change in anything. I did realize I'm sensitive to dairy. I've been to 3 NDs who basically say they don't know what to do to help me. I'm on my 4th ND who is now sending mi for further stool testing to see If this could be caused my a prarsite. He also checking nuerotransmitters. Waiting on these results.

I"m so sorry it's so long. I would greatly appreciate opinions more than you know!

Jada :)

how old are you?

have you had vaccinations recently?  at any time in the past?

what was going on emotionally in your life around or prior to the onset of the headaches?

are you currently taking any supplements?  which ones?

when the headaches started, where in your head did they start?  did they move around?  were they fixed in one place?  did it alternate sides?  did anything make them worse?  better?  was there a rhythm to their intensity?

do you still have the headaches?  same pattern as at onset?  or has the pattern changed?

Hi Jennifer,

I"m 30 years old and the only vaccines I"ve had are childhood vaccines. Prior to headaches I was in Japan with my husband(where he worked at the time) so yes away from family, scared of radiation, having to eat more unhealthy than usual so yes I was mores stressed. I"m currently not taking any supplements. I normally would take fermented clo, probiotic, and some others but I'm not absorbing much so I figure whats the point???

My headaches were everyday without relief, It felt as If I had a tight band around my head very uncomforatable. I still get them now and then. I also get pressure surges up the back of my neck and head.

another big problem I'm having is hair loss. I've alsways had thick hair and has become much thinner. It's been falling out for about a year now. I can see thinning spots on the sides and the front. It's devastating :(

So, you're seeing licensed NDs?   Still?

I would start by re-examining your thyroid lab results.  TSH, free T3, free T4 and reverse T3 minimally.  Thyroid antibodies as well.  Did they do all that?  or just TSH?

If you were my client, I would start by supporting your adrenals with nettles and an adrenal glandular (e.g.,  Adrenergize).  Also add in a broad spectrum digestive enzyme, either as a capsule or as a bitter herbal formula.  Liver support as an herbal tincture.

Vitamin C (as food preferably or as capsule).  Stress formula B complex.  Selenium (Life Extension is a good brand).  CLO, or split out vitamin A and then do Thorne's D/K2.  Magnesium supplement - I woudl do transdermal (on the skin) AND either a capsule (KAL has a good one called Actisorb) or Natural Calm.

I've got a headache homeopathic remedy in mind, but with so much else going on that is taxing your body, it probably wouldn't work until after you're got adrenal support in place.

Bone broth.  Fermented foods.

IF you can only do one thing, start with the adrenal glandular.

Yes I've actually been to 3 licensed NDs and they can't figure it out. My thyroid has been checked numerous times but it looks great. No antibodies present.

Does this sound heart related to you? I've had a full cardiac work up my 2 cardilogist and they found nothing but I don't get why I can't breath all the time, my heart is acting up and I have this upper limb weakness. I have Dr. rons adrenal whcih is good right? My Vitmain levels are so low Ithink I need to supplement but what's a good brand.

I'm hesitant to take to many supplements as per my GI stool test I'm not absorbing much. I have ancient minerals and did it for a month straight without noticing anything maybe I wasn't doing it enough? I'm thinkingof going grain free as well.

Thanks for your input it really helps.

MegaFood is a good brand.

If you're not absorbing, then you need to heat your digestive fires.  BITTERS.  Get the vagus nerve working again.  That's why i suggest both a bitter digestive tincture (e.g., Mountain Rose Herbs' Herbal Bitters)  AND a liver support (Herb Pharm's Healthy Liver Tonic is a good one).  Often, the herbs in these tinctures also have anti-parasitic activities but if you wanted certainty, you could add in black walnut tincture and/or wormwood tincture.

LypoGold is a great fat-specific enzyme.

If you think it is heart-related, you might consider a heart-supportive tea.  Hawthorn berry and rose hips in a blend are very tasty.  Mountain Rose Herb's "Grateful Heart" blend would be a good convenient one to try.  Every day, a few times a day, for a few months.

Is the weakness on both sides of the body?  Or just one side?  HAve you ever had any bodywork done?  Osteopathic, naturopathic, or something like rolfing?  You might consider looking into those...

OK Thank you!

I have ox bile coming in the mail as well Betaine HCI will those be ok to do with the bitters and Lypogold??

I"m going to check out mountain rose herbs immediately!

The weakness I feel is mainly in my shoulders and arms but today I'm also feeling weak in general. It's such a scary feeling not being able to breath. I get these attacks mainly at night where I'm awaken out of sleep with heart racing and not being able to breath. It's terrifying. Thanks so much for your help.

Yes, they should be fine together.  Just be sure to take them enough time before you eat.  The tincture should have instructions on it - follow them.

Get back on the magnesium - and if you're not noticing a difference with the transdermal product, take an oral form.  It will help to calm the palpitations.

Actually, you might read this article:  http://raypeat.com/articles/articles/hypothyroidism.shtml

It really could be your thyroid...

Intersting article. I understood some of it but whew some of it went over my head :)

I'm not sure how else to determine if it's thyroid related. I've had my thyroid checked a few times. When this happened in June I thought for sure it was my thyroid as I've had problems with it after both my pregnancies. With my first I become hypothyroid with hashis but went back to normal after a year. After having my 2nd child I went hyperthyroid with elevated antibodies again. Thyroid went back to normal levels on it's own after 2 months and I show no antibodies.

So when I first started having these issues I immediately had my thyroid checked but it was all normal.

Recieved RT3 levels and they're at 31.4 whcih my doctor said is to high for his liking but my FreeT3 is at 3.1.

He think the Rt3 and my adrenals being fatigued could be causing this problem.

He suggested I go on T3 and chart my temps. He's wanting me to increas T3 slowly after every 3 days then I will cycle back down. I will have to maybe do this a few times he said but he said this often fixes the high Rt3 problem.

I'm scared to do this for a few reasons.

1. I have never heard of dong this before.

2. I'm scared this could cause a thyroid storm or worsen my breathing and heart issues I'm already having.

What do you think about this?

there are 2 books you could/should read.  "Stop the Thyroid Madness" is a patient-focused book.  Very useful.  If you only have time to read one book, this would be the one.

the other one is this one: http://www.amazon.com/Recovering-T3-Journey-Hypothyroidism-Thyroid/...

(I haven't read it but I've heard that it is good)

support your adrenals and the palpitations should decrease.
