Swapping fabric sounds good, but we don't charge for the cultures. But I do love to sew!
Anyhow, I'll contact you when we have ours restarted. :~) If you don't hear from me in a while, please write and remind me. I get pretty distracted around here with all that goes on!! :~)
Thanks,
Jonna
You must be getting it from Kelseys?? That's where we used to get milk from. In fact, our cow just got back from "visiting" their bull. :~)
I will let you know when we have more. There is a raw yoghurt culture you can make on your counter, without heating the milk or anything. It's called piima. You are welcome to some of that culture.
I'm not a fan of Happy Cow because of many reasons, but one is that they misrepresent their milk, saying that the "low temp past. keeps more enzymes intact" when actually the test to see if past. works is if the enzymes are DEAD. Besides, I don't drink past. milk. My children have never had it. I have severe reactions when I have things that use it (ice cream, for example).
Anyhow, sorry for the sermon. :~)
We live north of Spartanburg by 10 minutes or so. We'll see you soon, perhaps!! :~)

Where in SC are you?? We don't have milk kefir grains right now, but I'd be glad to share as soon as I get some more. (We went on vacation and the grains never recovered... :~( . )
We have a cow so we have our own milk that we used to culture it. Mighty good stuff! I hope to have some by the end of the week.
Let me know if there's anything else you need, we have water kefir grains and piima,
Blessings,
Jonna
