I'm wondering if someone sent paypal with an address, but didn't get grains? I've been sending kefir to folks who send their address by email. But, just today I checked the paypal account. I found some addresses in the paypal messages and I want to be sure I didn't overlook someone accidentally.

If you sent paypal with your address and didn't receive water kefir grains, PLEASE let me know!!!

Thanks, Pat

Hi Pat:

Forgive me, but I don't know what a "PM" is... I would very much like to obtain some grains and would be happy to send the $3 to you however I need to. Please let me know! askcarrienow@gmail.com Thanks so much!
Sent you an email. :-)

I'm low on water kefir grains at the moment. But post to the Sharing Cultures group and someone will have grains to share!

I'd love to share. However, mine are not reproducing well at the moment. I have been brewing for several weeks to rebuild my supply. I'm not sure if it is because we have the heat off and air on, or because I wasn't adding the molasses. But, I have only about 1/4 cup at the moment.

Do post on the Sharing Cultures group and I'm sure someone will have some available to share. http://heal-thyself.ning.com/group/sharingstartercultures

I would LOVE to have some water kefir grains!
I am somewhat new to this. I have coconut water and am wanting to make kefir with it. I have grains to make milk kefir but not water kefir. I would love to get some from someone or do you know where I could purchase? Thank you. Angie
Hi Pat,
I have been considering making kefir after reading through the blog. Do you think a good kefir could be made w/ water grains and a puree of hemp seeds and steamed cauliflower? I use that general puree now to make pho sour cream and other "cream"-based dishes. I would love to make a pho yogurt. Any suggestions?
You only need a tablespoon of kefir for the HUGE probiotic benefits. I wouldn't suggest using it in the quantity of yogurt.

Are you trying to make dairy-free yogurt? I think that you can make coconut yogurt. Here is another recipe for dairy-free yogurt.

Hello, I just joined yesterday and am very interested in kefir grains. I probably need the water type as I just found out I cannot tolerate cow dairy products and I have no where local to get raw goats milk (in fact it is against Arkansas state law to sell raw milk). When I can take the time there is a place in Oklahoma to get raw goats milk, but that won't be like driving to the local grocery store, heh. Also, I have never had kefir so have little understanding of it. I thought it was a liquid form of yogurt. I have always enjoyed yogurt and made often myself, so I thought why buy a runny version of it, heh. Thanks,
i'd like some, but I believe it is still above 85 here in AZ, so I will wait.

Hi, I bought a box of Yo'gourmet freeze dried Kefir starter kit. If i don't want to use milk, can I use water with this brand instead? Thank You.
