Hi everyone! I'm very new here, and I'm grateful to have found such a forum as this one. I'm just.. VERY overwhelmed. I'm really frustrated with my husbands continuing gut problems (we've been married for five years, but his guy has had problems for way before that), which I can't really tie down. I've been determined in the past to help him, and have fallen away, but I've got the determination again. I've got some books, right now I'm going off of "Prescription for Nutritional Healing" (which I don't 100% agree with to tell you the truth) and Sally Fallon's "Nourishing Traditions."

Just looking through the more encyclopedic type books, he's got irritable bowel syndrome, chronic fatigue, depression, leaky gut syndrome (this one has actually been confirmed with a doctor a few years back), and maybe parasites and adrenal fatigue. He's under constant stress, even if there is "nothing" to stress about (there's always something..)

I'm hoping, praying, and praying some more that I can get to the bottom of this already. Yesterday, he literally spent the entire day in bed. The entire day! And this is not unusual. Something needs to change.

Thanks so much, I know there's tons of info here, and I'm going to start poking around.

Best,
Sss

Ok I was good about taking notes on all of this at first but I'm getting bad about it...

he takes .5 cup of aloe vera 3x/day, that's probably helping the most.

in the beginning he was taking a bunch of chlorophyll every day, maybe a TBS, but we ran out and haven't bought it again, although i really want to get more.

coconut oil daily, about a TBS, and EPO, and CLO

finally got him to start eating breakfast - just a yogurt, and he says it's helping.

Oh, also magnesium pills.

and recently, we started psyllium husks, 3x/day, which seem to be helping a lot also.

it seems like a lot, but i make him what i call "tonics" 3x a day and mix everything up, and he just glugs it down.

we're also eating lots of bone broth, and i've been making a juice consisting of carrots/parsley/cabbage/cream/egg yolk

it seems like a lot more work than it is!! :) it's no biggie when I'm actually making it.

aloe vera is REALLY helping. we're not perfect eaters, by any means, but we try.

Have not found a solution to antibiotic Clindamycin or Azithromycin (yet) that knocks out bad bacteria causing these symptoms. There is also "newer" procedures that injects good poop from a healthy person thru eneman into sick gut. You have to find someone like Dr. Jacob Teitlebaum or Dr. Mark Harmon, both of whom have websites.

This is a common though awful problem!!!
