Update on how my DD is doing, and looking for some insight on next steps:

Stool WAS: Green, mal-absorbed according to one naturopath.  Other symptoms, slightly dry skin overall, low appetite. Gained "some" weight on formula milk.

Stool Became Yellow-brown: once I switched DD to raw milk. Appetite still low, dry skin still on.
Hardly gained weight on raw milk.

Currently STOOL IS: Green, switched her back on formula milk because of lack of weight gain. However, she is gotten rough eczema type spots on her now.  one on the outside of her butt and the other next to her eye.  She gained back some weight since on formula.  Still has low appetite.

Meanwhile, I have taken her to a homeopath to help heal her skin and eczema type rashes.  Her appetite has not really gone way up, she still has the dry skin patches.  She STILL has only one stool per day which has always been the case.

PLUS, I got a stool report done which says:

Mucous (+)
Ph: Alkaline
Occult Blood (+)
Semi-solid
Color: Brownish

I am STRESSED because of the positive occult blood.  This report was true before beginning her on the homeopathic treatment.  I am hoping to get another one done in a months time, hoping she will heal.

I don't truly understand what occult blood means and how it happens? Is it good or bad that her stools have mucous and Ph: alkaline?

Any help and insight is helpful.

PS: I have now stopped giving her high amounts of Coconut Oil, CLO.  I try feeding her food made in ghee/butter.  I have also mostly kept her low on gluten or almost none when possible.  In addition, I am trying to give her mango smoothies, potatoes, rice, scrambled eggs, small mounts of fresh juices.  I massage her skin with coconut oil.

Goat's milk is not considered adequate in folate for infants. Although fermenting it does increase the folate levels, per my understanding.

Here is more information about making homemade infant formula:

I'm always concerned about nutrient deficiencies developing on extended elimination diets. Are you all able to add back a lot of variety of foods at this point, Jessica?
