~ Food Has Power ~
I am desperate at this point. I need answers. I need change. I really, really just need to feel better.
I started to research all kinds of stuff after I had my first son almost 6 years ago and here I am with an extremely distended stomach that almost always hurts and a slough of other quirky things that I can't seem to track down. I read all about Yeast, Celiac Disease, the terror that is Dairy, refined sugar, leaky gut, etc. I have thought so many times that I finally had that "AHA!" moment. Yet here I am suffering the same issues, only intesnified all these years later. For anyone who may be able to help and is willing to read this, here is my background:
Super prone to yeast overgrowth-especially when breastfeeding which I am
Migraines
(Diagnosed) IBS- more often gas/extreme bloating and constipation, less often diarrhea
Difficulty concentrating, sleeping, knowing when I am hungry/full-I always feel super bloated
Brain fog
Dairy/Soy-yeast overgrowth, stomach upset, dark circles, skin issues
Wheat-seems to bloat, stomach upset, brain fog,
Ashtma
Seasonal Allergies indoor/outdoor/food
Major food cravings-sugar, bread, caffeine
fatigue
Crazy PMS since having my 3rd child 6 months ago-gain 5-7 pounds, mood swings, stomach upset, major constipation-painful, migraines, fatigue, crave salt and sugar
I know this is a lot of information. I am so tired of feeling this way but so confused about the signals that I am getting from my body and how they correlate with the things that I read. I have to feed a family on a budget and just don't want to risk specialty diets that are expensive but nonproductive. What is wrong with me? Where should I start?

The first thing I thought about after reading this was the story of the woman who owns Flo Living... the symptoms were not the same but the anguish she felt at one time definitely matches. After years of her own research, she was able to figure out her condition and heal it.
Check her out - she is well versed in women's health, particularly how what we take in affects us hormonally, and how those hormaonal shifts affect overall health. (It seems like homrones may play into what you're experiencing, since you mentioned childbirth and breastfeeding as turning points in your symptoms) The website is http://www.floliving.com/ I believe they are based in NY, but might do phone consulatations.
I hope you are able to overcome whatever this is very soon! Stay encouraged!
