~ Food Has Power ~
Hi all.
Pat suggested I start a thread and get as much info from everyone as I can from everyone's research and knowledge.
Lets see...a little history, I am breastfeeding my currently 8 week old son(and will be for the next 2-ish years.) I was doing a no processed foods eating plan really well until I got pregnant and couldnt keep a bunch of the food down, so I "fell off the wagon" so to speak and am wanting to "get back on!" My husband is also on board with how ever I make our meals, he was raised with WAY too many processed foods(nearly all their dinners did/do come out of boxes and cans and lunch was mayo and bolonga on white bread) but he has made great strides to eat well since we have been together(nearly 4 years.)
I am doing green smoothies for one of my breakfast meals, along with a cup of bone broth in the morning.
One of my main things is eating, I dont hardly remember to...and when I do its in a rush, I need to get out of this habit and have things in the house that I can eat semi easily and prep a head of time if at all possible!
Dairy is out(I can use it to cook, but not as a main part of a meal,) G has shown an intolorace to spicy food including peppers of any kind(which takes away my normal snack food of sliced bell peppers.) And I try to stay away from gluten and starches.
Anyways, I look forward to hearing if anyone has any suggestions and welcome any/all questions! :-)
