~ Food Has Power ~
My soon to be 3yr old has psoriasis. It has gotten worse. He is sensitive to fruits,maple sugar, gluten, soy, dairy, corn, coconut, egg has a tree nut allergy and peanut too. We are refined sugar free. I am at my wits end and it is getting worse. We do probiotics when he will eat the foods I put them in..we also do some E3 Live enzymes and sprinkle on his foods. I had his stool sampled and has mild candida, something this doc said we all have it to a certain degree in a mild form.
I am working with a NAET person and stated he is very reactive to quercitin, a poly-phenol found in 80% foods...and I am concerned he may have a salicalayte allergy looking at his food sensitivity chart, which is also in many of the foods.
He eats very little sugar and no fruits, though he wants them. I bake my own gluten free vegan breads, but I am starting to go into some adrenal fatigue or more adrenal fatigue. this has consumed my life.
I would LOVE some other insights besides GAPS, SCD, etc. Those diets would be great if he could eat nuts, coconut and eggs, or I should say egg yolk, seems like he can have the egg white. But no longer clear on that.
We use African Shea Butter on his skin and he gets Espom Salt baths and a Mg Flake bath once per week. I do put some lavender in the bath for his skin but don't notice a difference.
