~ Food Has Power ~
I woke up feeling bad on Sunday, achey, cold or more begining flue like.
Cough worsened and is deep heavy cough that irritates my throat. As of yesterday, Wed, I seam to be wheezing esp at night, when laying down and particularly on left side. and early morning is bad too. Today I think I am wheezing even sitting up but not continuous.
I have no history of any of this. I don't remember ever wheezing before.
I have felt mildly feeverish but that part seams to be getting better, just not the cough.
NO sign of high fever at all.
The wheezing was making me really nervous, cause I immediately think Pneumonia. I do work limited hours in a nursing home although I hadn't worked in over a week when I came down with this Sunday.
I had pneumonia as a kid but remember I had a high fever
I don't feel that sick just worn out from coughing and bothered by the wheezing
it makes going to sleep hard
still a bit achey all over but that is improving
Been digging on the internet and am thinking it might just be acute viral bronchitis
taking some astrugalus, isatis, elderberry combo
went without taking supplements for a day or so
had been taking one from my chiropractor but I backed off.
Ideas, suggestions, causes, what to do?
My chiropractor is out of town, and waiting to hear back from two different Natrupathic Doctors cause I felt someone should listen to my lungs.
I would feel better knowing this is not turning into something worse like pneuomia.
sure I am a bit paranoid but understandably so because my husband had a massive heart attack out of no where back in the spring. So despite my convictions of natural health and healing, I want to be sure.
Thank for any ideas and thoughts.

Gina,
Have you taken any Master Tonic, bone broth, kefir, cod liver oil, vit C, vit D, Epsom salt bath? Rested?? That is where I'd start.
Pat
Thanks Pat. I take Keifer about every day. Did not make my master tonic this year and I need to...did much better last fall having it. oh, the bath idea, like that one.
I have rested so much, I think I spent too much time laying down...not so good for the lungs.
Then I rubbed Tiger balm on my back (in area of lungs)- well my husband did and my wheezing was far less after that....seams to be the best thing I have done.
and then I was able to get an apt. Sometimes it helps to see someone-
got to get the tonic made so I can avoid getting this sick or minimize it!
Lots of warm/hot liquids. The key to avoiding pneumonia is hydration and keep things moving. There are natural expectorants at EF and HHM. Ant. Tart. is a helpful lung homeopathic remedy. Hot steam showers, have someone bang on your back :) to break things up.
The epsom salt bath will help too. Let me know how you are doing. I have lots of experience with lung stuff and can bring you things, if you need it.
