~ Food Has Power ~
The focus here is on holistic healing. Our favorite way of doing that is to use nutrition as a tool to maximize the liver's detoxification process. This prevents toxins from circulating in the bloodstream.
Lots of different things count as toxins when you're talking about your body - the obvious heavy metals and environmental toxins, food chemicals, normal products of food metabolism, even something as basic as hormones that you don't have use for anymore.
By looking at individual biochemistry, it's possible to figure out which detox pathways need attention, and what nutrients they would benefit from. By opening all the doors, the burden is distributed better and nutrient requirements regulate. With a diet that's balanced for your own needs, the need for high vitamin supplements disappears.
The neat part is in realizing how interconnected these systems are and how EVERYTHING is a clue.
