I did a search and didn't find anything, and i also apologize if this should go somewhere else but I didn't see a section for this.

I am bleeding out MAJOR sized clots.... i'd say about 10 since last night. Occasional clots are normal for me, and i usually feel them pass, as in a bit crampy. But these are all painless, and just keep on coming!!!!! I'm actually a bit worried about leaving the house!

I have done a dietary detox of sorts this week since getting sick, and i've started oil pulling this week, and drinking a glass of water w/ 1T acv and 1/4 t bs which is also supposed to add in detoxing. i've not had any processed foods, and tbh not a lot of food in general. the only other thing i've been doing which is new for me is epsom salt baths.

i have done a TON of intense cleanses in the past, and never had a reaction like this.

coincidence?

Can you tell us more about the 'dietary detox'? I would not drink ACV and baking soda together, personally. Either or, is one thing. I'm not keen on baking soda, as it impairs food digestion HCl in the stomach, per my understanding.

Are you using any anti-inflammatory medication, foods high in salicylates, CLO? Any dark, leafy vegetables? Here is a list of foods high in salicylates. http://www.zipworld.com.au/~ataraxy/Salicylates_list.html

There could be a hormonal component, an inflammatory component, or a blood thinning component. Many herbal properties can stress the system, for some people.

If you are light-headed, I'd be sure you are drinking adequate fluids and salt consumption. Any other detox symptoms? Diarrhea, loose stools, green, bloody stools, eczema, etc.?

Pat
lets see
i didn't mention that i have been having lots of raw garlic, and lots of vit C.
i have had some CLO. i have had some oregano oil. a decent amount of kombucha but not more then normal.
I have had less dark green veggies then normal due to not wanting to eat. Instead i've been having my morning smoothie and veggie soup w/ bone broth. thats really about it, although i did manage to eat an egg. i think i had an apple/some grapes one day. some kimchi.

i need to look into the salicylates issue, because i'm just not familiar with it at this time.

I'm not light headed at all. I am drinking plenty of fluids. My stools have been pretty good- lots of them, esp considering i'm not eating much. but that is a normal thing. Occasionally green.... I am swallowing a lot of phlegm at night, i'm sure..... Yuch.

i put a lot of kale into my smoothie this morning for some extra iron.
i'm going to look at the salicylate list now.....

Thanks!
The garlic, vit C, CLO all have blood thinning features. The dark leafy greens have blood clotting features. Salicylates are more anti-inflammatory, as are the garlic, vit C and CLO, which could irritate the lining of the uterus (colon, bladder), in large quantities, I believe. Apples and grapes are high in salicylates too. The key is replacing fluids and maybe decrease the anti-inflammatory foods. Are you bruising easily?

If it continues, I'd consider some arnica montana homeopathic. But, it sounds like a big cleanse. The dark, leafy greens have vit K, which helps with clotting.

Are you nursing a child? If so, I'd increase their vit C doses, because you could be dumping a lot of toxins in your milk. :-/

Pat
Thanks a TON pat.
This has been helpful for me. I will eat a lot of greens today- eating some right now in my soup!
I forgot to add that i've also been eating caynne in my soup. I'm thinking that is also a blood thinner and and anti inflammatory.

Luckily i am not nursing. I waited until I was done to do any more major cleansing. :)

Thanks again. I'm really grateful for your feed back.
I can't wait till i'm done bleeding so i can do the beet test. :D
