I saw your post earlier this week, was too tired that night to reply... Here is a great link/blog that explains Kefir really well...ck out all it can do and process of making it.. very good
I have been making Kefir for about a month, so good.. got culture from someone on his blog... It is amazing stuff... yes will be thick at end of 24 hours, normal. I use raw milk, my kefir is prolific. I have shared mine twice and could share it again here soon.
so how are you doing with yours? Any more questions after you read this link?
