Water kefir is easy, nutritious and delicious. We each take about a tablespoon a day. I mix it in juice for ds. Dh and I'll drink 1/4 of water kefir or milk kefir occasionally. But, mostly, we just have a bit every day. Taking a smidgen a couple of times a week has HUGE microbial benefits. Here are instructions, with photos and YouTube videos. http://heal-thyself.ning.com/group/sharingstartercultures/forum/topics/water-kefir-quest
You are welcome to some kefir grains (milk or water). I should have more to share in about two weeks.
It is like making lemonade and tastes about the same, a bit more like apple cider, perhaps. You just leave it in the cupboard for a couple of days to ferment. (took me a year to get comfortable with that idea, lol)
