Fascinating. Haven't heard of ginger and sugar water brewing. So, you don't drink it straight, just use it to flavor? How long do you let it steep? Isn't it night-time in Oz? :-)Pat
My 'ginger bug' has been going for over a year now. After a few days it starts bubbling and smells amazing. I use it as a cordial or for my ginger beer.
