The Lara bars have inspired me. I have a gorp mix which I take whenever we leave the house - instant portable nutrition. So, I finally made the Lara bars with dates (remember to remove the seeds, they are hard on your food processor. ask me how I know...) and tossed in my gorp mix. OH MY!! fabulous!! delicious!! "Honey" - Do be aware that most honey has been heat pasteurized. Raw honey has amazing antimicrobial benefits and even probiotic benefits - including bifidum, the predominant microbial in the young human gut. As we age, we lose bifidum as the dominant microbial. Yeast means several different things. Basically, there are good yeasts and bad yeasts. And there are live yeasts and dead yeasts.
