<p>Generally, I find it is easier to find something to do *instead*, rather than to "stop" (whatever "it" is). I'd consider when/where/why a behavior occurs, what underlying need is being met. And create an alternate action or tool to meet that need. <br/><br/>Pat</p>

Part of my issue might be a bad case of the "Shoulds." I believe that if I could embrace my habits as conscious choices and accept them without judgment that I could become more healthy in my transitions.
